DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy This course covers various aspects of researching, developing and presenting a Comparative Market Analysis when working with sellers. Resources discussed will include the MLS and RPR. The instructor will present elements of a thorough CMA, how market dynamics effect pricing, the relation of pricing to timing, and other factors that may indicate a price adjustment. The different between a CMA and an appraisal will also be noted. *This class has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 3 hours of Real Estate Continuing Education. *This class is provided by Minnesota REALTORS. *This class will count toward earning your GRI Designation. *If you have taken this class previously with MN REALTORS, you may not get credit again. (It depends on how long ago you took the class.) Cost: SCAAR Members - $15 for one GRI class, $25 if you register for both. Not a REALTOR Member of SCAAR - $25 for one class, $40 if you register for both. Please note: if you wish to attend both classes at the reduced rate, register for one class and the other class will have a reduced registration fee as an option. NOTE: Attendance Policy!!! Per the DOC Minnesota Statute 45.30, Subd. 4: Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. You must be there by the start time of class and cannot leave before the course has concluded. This means you cannot even be 1 minute late or leave 1 minute early. If you do not cancel and do not show up, members will be charged a no show fee of $10.50 per credit hour. Non-members will forfeit their registration fee.
